Do You Know - the World longest Running Line Dance Event?

We are told that Tim Gillis Spring Dance Weekend held at Ellenville NY - Honors Haven Resort & Spa from April 24 - 27, 2014 is marking its 24th year presenting an all-inclusive Dance weekend - Check out at https://www.timgillisdanceweekends.com/register-spring.html Tim Gillis has been offering the inclusive Dance weekend for almost 25 years and every detail is covered by personal attention.   

We are also told that LINE DANCE MARATHON, currently marked its 21st anniversary which will be held from May 29 to June1 this year at Durham, North Carolina USA, is among one of the longest running event in the history of Line Dance World. Anyone who knows of a line dance event that runs longer than these 2, please let us know so that we can share the news with all our line dancing friends.

Why is it so successful over the years? The Marathon has something for everyone!  Along with the all day mixed-level dance workshops and evening dance parties, there are dedicated improver/beginner workshops and parties for the improver/beginner level dancers too. As usual, there is the friendly competition for best original choreography for the talented.   

The annual event is usually held over a 4-day period with more than 80 hours of workshops and evening dances that last into the wee hours of the morning. There is also a highly creative show presented by the instructor staff to entertain everyone  and this year's theme is Roaring 20's with prizes for the best costume.
