Karl-Harry Winson first got into theatre when he joined Bournemouth’s Stagecoach Theatre School
at the age of 14. From there, he moved onto Big Little Theatre School and continued with
musical performing in shows such as ‘Children of Eden’ and ‘Spotlight’. Karl is also a dance

Over the past few years, Karl has choreographed numerous line dance routines which were
recognized around the world. A number of these dances have reached the Top 10 line dance
charts in many parts of the world. Since 2012, he has worked with many international dance
choreographers such as Robbie McGowan Hickie, who is one of the renowned line dancing
personality recognizing his talent early in his dance career. Some of his popular choreography
include the one with Robbie, “Unpredictable”, "Jealousy", “Alvaro” and “A Thousand Miles”.
After graduating from University with a Degree in Musical Theatre, he continues to perform in annual

include but not limited to musicals such as West Side Story, You’re A Good Msn Charlie Brown, Kiss
Me Kate, and Hairspray.
According to Karl, Line dancing is such an amazing form of dance and he is very proud to be part of
it. In his own words, he says: Even though I have a strong passion in theatre, i don’t think
anything comes close to my passion for line dancing. The way I think line dancing has evolved
over the years with its music, steps and global interest is fascinating. You get to meet so
many amazing people and watching a room full of people dancing your dance and having fun
is the highlight of it all. This was emphasized to me in 2012 at the Crystal Boot Awards when I
saw a room full of people dancing “Jealousy” in Blackpool. What an Amazing Feeling! When
you see people enjoying it, it certainly makes it all worthwhile, and that’s the main thing,
Enjoy It and have fun!
