Please join us for the 12th Annual Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic which is located in beautiful Tampa, Florida! The Tampa Bay area is a beautiful sight to see so come early or stay late and enjoy many of the local attractions. Busch Gardens and the beach is just minutes away! Plenty of golfing, sightseeing and shopping to do when you aren't busy dancing!
A dance preview will be available for you on Thursday, Friday and Saturdayso that you can make plans for the workshops that you would like to take for the next day. There will be plenty of workshops and LOTS of open dancing going on all the time.
PRO AM COMPETITION - Be sure to think about dancing in our fun Pro Am Competition. There are no rules and it's your choice of dance and music. The cost is $10 per dance with a maximum of two dances per competitor. You will perform for 1 1/2 minutes. Please register by Friday AM. You MUST purchase a weekend pass to enter. CHOREOGRAPHY COMPETITION - This will be the FIRST year for choreography competition as part of the United States Choreography Championships. Check out the USLDCC web site for more information.www.USLDCC.com. You must purchase a weekend pass to enter.
If you are new to dancing of just enjoy the easier dances, we have a ballroom that will be primarily dedicated for beginner / improver dances. There will be lessons and open dancing throughout each day and evening in this ballroom beginning on Thursday night.
There is a free 10 minute shuttle from the airport (TPA) for everyone who is flying in from out of town. If you need any other directions or assistance in case you are driving, then please do not hesitate to call the hotel.
Onsite registration will be available beginning Friday morning and PRE-registration will be available for pick up on Thursday evening. Thursday night dance will start at 7:00pm. When making your plans to attend, please note that workshops will begin on Friday at 9:00 am and end on Sunday at 3:00 pm.
