Introducing Wil Bos - International Dance Instructor, Choreographer & Party DJ...

Introducing Wil Bos (Left in picture), the international dance instructor, choreographer and party DJ from the Netherlands. Why the Netherlands again, you may ask? Well, featuring Roy Verdonk without Wil Bos is like a missing piece in a puzzle - they both have striken a great partnership and collaboration that 'rock' the linedancing world with dance hits such as Baila Mas mAs maS, Rebel Amore and 1-2-3 Summertime.

Wil Bos was born on 19th August in Veldhoven, which is close to Eindhoven located in the south of the Netherlands, where he resides.Music and dancing have always been a huge part of his life and he was playing in a band when he was thirteen.

He was introduced to line dancing by his ex-sister-in-law and quickly developed a great passion and addiction to it. Soon after, Wil becomes an instructor and an unexpected turn of events lead him to take over her line dancing club, ‘Route 66 Country Linedancers’ to which he changes the name to club to ‘DoubleYouB Linedancers’ - a more modern twist and a play on his initials WB, according to him.  He find a balance by teaching country dances and modern dances to suit all tastes .

With everything moving so fast, he starts to write his own dances. His first dance success, is also his virgin work entitled ’Spirit in the Sky’ by Gareth Gates. A whirlwind of events that followed entail meeting and becoming friends with so many people, one of which was meeting his dear friend, Roy Verdonk when his career was launched.

‘Shake up the Party’, the first dance that Wil and Roy wrote together became a hit in the Netherlands and many European countries. Since then, they were featured in the Linedancer magazine many times. Later big hits such as Rebel Amore and 1-2-3 Summertime strike the linedancing world by storm. He continued to provide great dances to the linedancing world including recent hit: A Venga Hot. Many of their dances, just to name a few - Travelling Music, Angie, etc. were taken and used in competition dances in Europe. 

Wil Bos loves teaching and choreographing, and he enjoy DJing his own line dance parties. In fact, he has been asked to DJ at many other line dancing events in other parts of Europe and Great Britain. He derives satisfaction and joy from seeing people enjoying the dance and music. He humbly pay tribute to all the people who has in one way or another contribute to his amazing success. We wish him well and look forward to more of his dances and other linedancing works.
