Patricia Stott - Line Dance Teacher & Choreographer from the U.K...Read on
Patricia Stott has been a dance teacher for over 40 years, with the last 20 years or so as choreographer and line dance instructress (teacher). Her achievements include receipt of the following Crystal Boot Awards and many other nominations during the last 11 years:
* Intermediate dance of the year 2001
* Rising star 2006
* Intermediate dance of the year 2006
* Dance of the year 2006
* Absolute beginner dance of the year 2011
* Intermediate dance of the year 2012
* dance of the year 2012
And she is one of the very few (in fact, there are only 4) choreographers who has won the ‘Dance of the Year’ awards twice.
In 2014, she has the honour to be asked to choreograph a dance to the song, “Never Gonna Fall In Love” for the Linedance foundation (LDF), and “Fall In Love” was launched at the Crystal Boot Awards in Blackpool, UK at the end of January 2014 with the proceeds from the sale of the music track donated to the LDF.
Patricia teaches in many places such as Goostrey, Mobberley , Chorley (near Wilmslow), Poynton, Wilmslow, etc. Beside conducting dance workshops in Europe, she also taught in Australia.
Patricia has been teaching line dancing since the days of cowboy hats and boots. According to Patricia, Line dancing is just as popular ever since its introduction in her country, and line dancing is fun for all ages and for everybody regardless of his/her ability.
She appreciates the support from her many classes, and she is grateful to her 2 daughters who have grown up line dancing. We were told they, on occasions, choreograph dances together, too.
