Oasis of Line Dancing
Ready 5-6-7-8: Check out some of the best dances...Here! (16/7)
Ready for some of the finest and beautiful dances this July?
First on the list, we introduce Paul James & David-Ian Blakeley and their choreography: State
Lines, A 48-count NC2 with the beautiful sweep triple full turn and the last 4-count sequence
of 1/2 turn pivot & 3/4 turn. Next, try out Fique Comigo by Sebastiaan Holtland who makes
you want to dance again. We also like Augen Wie Feur (Eyes like Fire) - an energetic and fun
dance by Taiwanese Nina Chen. Rachael seldom fails to please - this time the same with ‘Do
What You Do’ - the fun tag and her clever use of the dance floor. We prefer Peter & Alison’s
version of Black Magic - a dance with simple and nice routine - Try it! Now, we will dance to
the new choreography from Ria Vos & Karl-Harry Winson, who is on the roll at the moment.
We like Get Up, Get Down, particularly the touch dip sequence that lead into Monterey ½
turn and the kick & Heel/Lean Back steps. Niels Poulsen and Maria Maag present Stonecold -
a clever fusion of west coast, funky and nightclub. In this phrase dance, particular the starting
section of Part A, pop walks with shoulder roll in Part B, and the nightclub steps in Tag 2.
Country, anyone? We have Rob Fowler & Daniel Whittaker with their Pink Stilettos - a
beautifully crafted dance and yet making it easy for everyone. What else?... Dance!
