Welcome 2011 & Top 50 Linedances In Dec'10 - The Results

It was interesting in the month of December when evergreen came back with a vengeance, charging up the chart, together with the new dance hits such as 1-2-3-4, Easily Hooked, Chachanela, Cuz I Said So, etc. Totoy Bibbo maintains its strong position for several months now, and ‘Nobody, But You’ also featured regularly in dance parties last month. After the ‘Dance with Niels Poulsen’ workshop in Johor Bahru and Singapore (Lengkee CC), the 3 new dances, namely, ‘Only Girl’, ‘Marz & Mummies’ & ‘I belong To You’, not surprisingly, were played at jams held by leading linedance instructor/instructress: Peter & Eelin, Joyce, Jenny Lim, Robin Sin & some others. And they arouse the line dance community here in Singapore despite the facts that the video and related materials are ‘embargoed’ until Niels Poulsen completes his world tour in USA sometime in Jan.’11. Alas! They were introduced too late to climb further up the chart for a listing. Next month could be the month they shoot up the chart, Watch out! Before we let you have the entire Top 50 hits for December, it is also noteworthy to know that ‘Feliz Navidad’ and ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ were the most popular X’mas dances in X’mas parties in Singapore, and Feliz Navidad actually made it to the Top 50.
