Top Dances - Singapore vs North America (Oct'10)
It’s always interesting and good to compare popular dance hits with the other part of the world and note the contrast and similarity – Line Dances that all of us in this planet called EARTH share our love on the dance floor.
From the Top Hits listed below, you can see that ‘Snap Your Fingers’, an intermediate/advanced dance choreographed by Rachael McEnaney tops the chart in North America this week. BTW, the dance has overtaken Hey Soul Sister for a few weeks now, albeit closely fought. While here in Singapore, ‘Nothin’ Better’ and ‘Fall Apart’ are leading the pack at the moment. It seems all of us on planet Earth love ‘Fall Apart’ but ‘Nothin’ Better’ does not fare well in North America as compared here where the dance is played all weeks during October.
We last featured ‘Hey Soul Sister’ and’Bobbi with an I’ in previous issues. This time, we highlight ‘Snap Your Fingers’ with a dance video and the step sheet just in case you fall in love of the dance that we (in Singapore) have missed or maybe not missed but because of its int/advanced dance steps.
