Top 50 Most Popular Linedances in 2010 - R u favorites there?

12/01/2011 13:02

In this time of the year, apart from pondering over our resolutions for the new year, it is also interesting to know which of the line dances are the most popular in 2010. New dances come and go; most of them are short-lived, hitting up the chart for a month or so, and soon diminish from the scene. Some will stay joining oldies like Simplemente. Which of them will prevail and share the Top scene in 2010 for evergreen segment? This would be interesting, too. As the linedance community has grown and there are large followings in many parts of the world. Singapore is no exception. Therefore, it is not surprising to know of the differing sentiments and likings among our linedance buddies in Singapore and elsewhere. In Singapore, there are several influences among the multi-ethnic populations, depending on their profiles like language, education and the places they live in. The older and/or Mandarin speaking folks would lean more toward dances from Malaysia; Country & Western line dances remain the favourites of many older folks and/or Western oriented ones. The younger ones like the rest of the world prefer newer variants such as tango, hop-hop, latin, etc. Korean is also their cup of tea here. With further ado, let’s go for the main dishes… 2010 TOP 50 Most Popular Linedances in Singapore goes to:
